Boys Town

I’m sitting on a stone at the foot of the Angel of Hope statue on the grounds of Boys Town. Here, as at Father Flanigan’s House just yards away, the ground is covered with bricks & stones bearing inscriptions from those who have lived at Boys Town. It’s evident that their lives were transformed while living here. The tranquility in this small garden, shaded by a canopy of trees, is tangible; and the Angel of Hope is a beauty.
